What a cute town! As you pull into the town you see the brightly colored, corrugated tin houses. This place was definitely explosive in the 70s. Our experience here surmised the purchase of cheap sunglasses, the rental of a camping stove and mats, and the eating of our new favorite meal: <insert meat here> a lo pobre. It's a huge steak/salmon/chicken/whatever under two eggs deliciously sunny side up, all on top of a perfectly grilled/carmelized onion and piled high with steak fries. Yum. Seriously, even Sara ate the steak fries.

Also our friend at Lodging Casa Lili was incredibly helpful for our trek through Torres del Paine. He hooked us up with abovementioned supplies, door-to-trailhead bus tickets, and gave us the courage to set out on "the W". Stay tuned for a trek report!
