Hi again
We left Munich and arrived in Prague. The hotel was massive and we rested for a bit before having dinner in the City and doing a tour around the place. This city is beautiful. Got some info from the guides, like in the main square, there's a building that parliament used to be in the 1600's, where two politicians were thrown out a window, which sparked the Thirty Years War back in 1618, interesting??? The next morning we trekked in to the city again and went to our first stop, The Communist Museum. Pretty cool stuff in their like actual propaganda posters and a movie that was playing that was about the Czech Republic after WW2. I had no idea how violent and pretty much Shit it was there, i its come so far too. We then went to the castle, which was cool, it had a massive cathedral in it. Big stained glass windows and statues and things. we also climbed up a huge tower within the cathedral, 287 steps supposedly, spiral staircase which seemed to get thinner and thinner. Once we got to the top though, we could see the whole of Prague. Awesome stuff. After that we had a bit of a rest in a park and watched some weird interpret dancing. Damn Bohemians are Queer!! We then went to the Old Jewish Quarter where we bought our first bit of artwork, a cool watercolour painting of a street in Prague. Everything is sooo cheap in Prague. We decided it was time we had some dinner, had a bit of czech beer, which was nice, and Amanda had some wine, before we headed off to a traditional Marionet show. Don Giavanni in Italian of course. we could'nt understabd a word it but you can make out what the story is about. We had fun. So was our trip to Prague, i'd like to go again.
P.S. We were asked if we wanted to buy hashish about 3 or 4 times in the street by weirdo's, and we hadn't even gotten to Amsterdam yet.
