I've been in Bath since yesterday afternoon, and I absolutely love it here! Thanks to everyone (Lori and Gen) for insisting that I come here. Now I know why...
I can't write a long entry today because the Internet in this city is ridiculously over-priced. I'm using a friend's computer now, so I don't want to abuse of my time on it!
So far, I've met a few Canadians girls, and some people who were travelling through on a Haggis tour (which I think I will do to visit the Scottish Highlands). I also found this great deal that includes a few nights at the hostel, and a visit to Stonehenge, so I'll be going there tomorrow. I wasn't expecting to go all the way out there, so I'm pretty excited about it. Today, I took a boat tour down River Avon, took a free tour of Bath, and visited the Roman Baths. This town is small but has so much fascinating history. And it's so beautiful - all the streets are lined with honey-coloured stone buildings and you can see the Bath Abbey from almost anywhere.
I'm planning to stay here until Saturday, and then I'll be off to visit the Peak National District. I've attached a few pictures to give you a quick glimpse of where I am...I'll write more when I can afford it!
