Thursday, we arrived in Durango temperatures are more what we are used to. Ronald and the girls went to Mesa Verde. They enjoyed it.
Friday, We took the bus from Durango to the old Mining town of Silverton explored the town and had lunch. The streets were dirt and you could imagine Butch and the Sundance Kid riding up the streets on horses. The buildings were like stepping back in time. There were alot of resturants and souvenir (spelling ??) shops. We came back to Durango on an old steam train-we were in an open air car the engine was 80 years old and we had coal soot on us when we returned.
Tomorrows obstacle is to try to get over the Wolf Creek Pass at 10,850 feet with a 6.5% grade and with that altitude it has been sucking the life out of Mr Blue (truck).
