So much has happened since we last updated the blog so here's a brief insight.....

After the Full Moon Party, we left Koh Phangan with Josh and Chris and made our way to Koh Samui.  On arrival, we checked into the cheapest hostel we could find on the island and it's turned out to be the best.  For 4quid a night, we may not get hot water, we may not get much sleep due to aeroplanes flying over our hostel every 15 minutes, but we certainly have an awesome social life.

Our room is on the second floor, right next door to three eccentric thai guys who live and work in Samui as entertainers doing a fire show.  As soon as we walked passed one of them, we both said 'Oh my God, excuse me, can we take your photo?  You look exactly like our friend Kyle Maslin.'  On entering his room, we met his cousin Oh, who looked even more like Kyle Maslin so we named Ken (first guy we met) Kyle from 2005 and Oh - Kyle from 2011 as they resemble Kyle from these periods of his life.  The Kyles then introduced us to their other mate, Mon.  It was pretty much love at first sight.  Mon could quite possibly be, the most amazing man we have ever met.  Needless to say, we all became best mates.

We spent our first few nights in Samui with Josh and Chris, riding elephants, mopeds and the waves.  The best day on record so far, had to be the day when we all got up early to climb the 80m waterfall.  We hired 2 peds and made our way to Na Muang Waterfall in the hills of central Samui.  Due to sheer hillyness, 2 hours in, we noticed the back wheel on our ped was completely flat.  Luckily for us, we had a thai phrasebook (Cheers Eddie) so managed to complete a string of thai sentences to a lovely lady making dough.  By sentences, we mean 'Yaang Baan' aka 'Flat Tyre'.  Off she popped with her cousin in tow and changed the tyre for us.

A few days later, we had to say our Goodbyes to Chris and Josh as they started making their way north to Bangkok to fly to Australia.  However, we are going to hit up Barry Island when we are all back in the UK for some serious fish n chips.

Back to the carnage of our social life, we havent had more than 5hours sleep in 4days.  Our  days consist of waking up to Ken banging on our door, Mon popping his head through and Oh kicking footballs in our faces to invite us to the beach for a swim with their mate Meepooh.  After a days swimming, lunch at a local market and eating Sushi in the rooms..... then comes night time.

We party all night (and most of morning) with Ken, Oh, Mon, York, Gon and Meepooh and being next door neighbours with Oh and Ken, we usually end up in an unconscious heap in Ken's bed.  Ken is possibly the nicest guy we have ever met.  He wakes us up and serves us eggs, he gets us free drinks because he knows everyone and he's taken us away from the commercial side, showing us a more authentic Samui.

It's now 18.50 and we are going to have to love you all and leave you because im sure Ken, Oh and Mon are worried about where we have been for the past 2hours - we dont think we have been apart from them for that long since we got here!  We've uploaded a few piccies so you can put a face to the name...

Lots of love to everyone reading....
