Off through the dessert there are a few oasis, my stop includes the animals on Isla Ballestas, where penguins, sea lions and quadrillion birds live. There are so many birds that this island is harvested for its fertile crap. Every 7 years 300 men set off and shovel 1 meter thick crap off the island on to a boat which is then sold on the international market.
