We left Potomac around 9:00 and drove north to Gettysburg to visit the Visitor Center and Battlefield. The museum at Gettysburg if full of pictures, buttons, belt buckles, Bullets etc. found around the area. The actual battlefield of Gettysburg is around and on beautiful farms. Many units, regiments from all over the country have erected statues and monuments around the battlefields to show where there people fought during the Battle of Gettysburg. If the South had won the battle of Gettysburg they very well may have won the civil war. We searched for a new letterbox but could not find a trail to the hidden box. We then drove east towards Hanover PA and camped at Codorus State Park next to a beauiful lake. While walking after dinner I saw 10 dear in the meadows and bats flying around.
