So our plans for the Brazillian-border agents was the classical neglegence ¨we didn´t know you needed a visa¨ since we didn´t want to pay $100 for one day in Brazil but the border crossing only consisted of jumping off the bus onto some kind of ¨special¨ mat for agriculture control and then we were on our way. From the bus stop we caught a taxi and arrived at the Brazillian side of the falls just before they stopped letting people in. Although everyone told us that the Argentina side was better I thought the incredible panoramics from the Brazil side were incredible. There was this hour long walk that gave a real appreciation of how big the falls really were and ends with a fantastic view of the Devil´s throat waterfall. After thoroughly enjoying Brazil and taking lots of pictures like usual Jules and I caught a local bus in order to meet up with the international bus. With no time for mistakes as the last international bus crosses at 7 PM we made one by getting off by about a quarter mile too early and ended up running along the highway freaked out about illegally spending a night in Brazil until we arrived at the bus stop with about 3 minutes to spare! Whew!! We saftely made it back to Argentina after an intense day of waterfall watching and said an extra prayer for our border-crossing fortune. Tomorrow... a venture into Paraguay...
