Im telling you, it is great to be an Adventist. The community that we have rocks... I arrived just in time for the morning service at a church I had never been in before, and before it had ended I had already been invited to two places for lunch. I let them duke it out and eventually ended up at the pastors (Omars uncle) house for a wonderful lunch of chicken, fruit and veges! The whole weekend was great! With the pastors kids (24, 25, 29.. yah they are my age!) we had all kinds of fun playing scrabble (in spanish, ugh), riding roller coasters at the local fair, plus a highlight was going to a bee farm and harvesting some fresh honey (hmm that stuff is good, but dont tell my brother the dentist!). All in all it was a fun, relaxing and spiritually enlifting weekend that unfortunately, like everthing, came to end and I said my sad goodbyes as I headed off to Riobamba, to tackle the highest mountain in Ecuador, Chimborazo! See you there...
