Where I stayed
Different safari camps

Yes, this was my second safari to Africa.  The first one to Tanzania and Kenya was my initiation into safaris into the wilds of Africa, and I was hooked, and that was only one year before!!    To see wild animals in their natural habitat, thousands upon thousands of wildebeests and zebras in migration as in the Serengeti and Masai Mara.

What many people do not know is that the so-called "tented camps" of these safaris are luxurious, many with tiled bathrooms, and running hot and cold water.   That doesn't begin to give it justice, because the food is equally magnificent, and the service always five stars.

And speaking about food, the portable camp in the Serengeti was the most impressive.   They baked delicious breads fresh daily, and even served us cakes during our stay, and cooked all of them in a metal box oven over an open fire.

The two aerial photos of Victoria Falls was taken by a couple from Boston.   They flew on motorized kites over the falls, and if I had known they offered this, I would have participated with them.   However, they were good enough to share their photos after our return home.
