The three of us got to Ko Phi Phi Don after a rocky 2 hour boat journey over from Phuket Town (where we sat for 3 hours after missing a boat by about 30 seconds).  Once arriving we got hit by a mad ush of people trying to sell us accommodation/tours/etc so we jumped on a long-boat and got straight to Long Beach, the best beach on the island.

On Tuesday we tried to walk up to the viewing point over the bays but the path was rubbish, so we failed on that one.  We did nmanage to hire a long-boat for 3 hours though, taking us to all the main sights on Ko Phi Phi Ley.  We got to see the beach from The Beach, which looked packed with tourists.  We passed on that, opting to snorkel instead.  We snorkelled in a few spots, and I saw a small shark, a sea snake, and loads of fish.  The snorkelling was awesome, although some of the reefs are over-visited and damaged.  We also stopped in a lagoon - the water was so clear it's unbelievable A bay on Phi Phi Ley

.  The 3 hours were quality, and we had a great time.

Unfortunately John had to leave on Wednesday, and Matt & I were supposed to move on to Krabi too.   We didn't!!  We decided to stay here until Saturday, when Matt leaves to go home.  Since John went we haven't done a whole lot, except get heavily drunk one night, resulting in Matt falling into the sea and then trying to get in the wrong bungalow, and we've sunbathed a lot.  The island is pretty touristy but we're on the best beach, with fewer tourists! I managed to smash Matt at backgammon (his pride and joy) 6-4 too.

I had a wicked time whilst Matt (and John) where out here,  I ended up staying in Phi Phi until Sunday due to feeling a bit rough (again, and not alcohol related entirely).  I'm going to stay in Krabi a few days whilst I sort out my next steps...
