Nice beach and nightlife in Nha Trang

After the train got us to Nha trang at 8.30am we got a taxi to Phu Quy Mini-Hotel, where we were reacquanted with Nico! We checked in as quickly as we could, had something to eat, then headed down to the beach for the day. The beach is really nice and we spent ages down there swimming, playing volleyball, eating fresh seafood cooked in front of us, and generally relaxing. It was nice to do, although I couldn't get a minutes peace and quiet due to all the sellers.
After the strains of the day at the beach, me and Nico went to get some food whilst the boys stuck to their western diet at the hotel. Nico, being a chef, tries anything and I went along to the local-filled restaurant with him and enjoyed the food. We all then went to Crazy Kim's Bar, where the slogan is "Keep your hands off the kids", a campaign trying to reduce the number of paedos in Nha Trang, not that I've seen any. We met up with Ben and Simon, a couple of English lads we met in a few other places, then went down to the Sailing Club - a really cool bar/club on the beachside. After drinking a few buckets I can't really report what else happened as I don't remember. It ended up being a big night, so much so that I missed the boat-trip the next day due to severe hangover problems! I spend the day in bed mainly, and opted to stay in at night too, to save some money and my liver.
I'm heading off to the beach again now, as today is my last full day here. I'm leaving for Mui Ne tomorrow, missing Dalat out so I have time to go to the Mekong Delta later. As a result, I'll be leaving the boys for a few days, but we'll meet up again in Saigon for my birthday. Could get messy. More thumbnails ...
