Jungle fever....

So my trip to Cape Tribulation was a good one. On the first day, I set off early on the Jungle Tours bus to get upto a cool little wildlife sanctuary. When there I got to see a python demo, a bird sanctuary that included the worlds deadliest (Cassowary) bird, crocs, emu's, and feed kangaroos. That's right, I've FINALLY seen a bloody kangaroo!!!!! They were pretty cool actually, although a little feisty.
After the sanctuary we headed up to Mossman Gorge, where we did a jugle walk, then swam in the jungle freshwater swimming holes. It was beautiful - certainly beats Westcroft! That was followed by lunch, before we carried on drivig to Daintree, where the junle meets the barrier reef. Pretty cool! We went on a wildlife cruise, where we saw a few random things and a baby croc. It isn't the best conditions to see crocs so I was happy enough. After leaving Daintree, we drove along the coastal road to Cape Tribulation, which is in the middle of nowhere, and has no phone reception!
I basically just chilled out for a few days up there, having a few beers whilst watching the cricket with a bunch of Aussies (hard work when we're playing crap). On the last day I went to another jungle swimming hole, and down the beach and stuff. It was nice to have a few days chillin out in a jungle setting, with random people. One included an imbred Aussie, who said he has a lot of time for Osama bin Laden. That was an interesting conversation I never thought I'd have! Another included a sleazy salsa teacher who insisted on touching girls breasts, and saying "that's your sturnum!" So slick, I must remember to try that one.... I'm now going back to Cairns to meet up with Ad, Dan & Dave, before flying down to Melbourne for Christmas. Oh my God, its nearly Christmas!!!!
