River Valley is a gorgeous lodge set in the middle of nowhere, with no mobile reception. Its a nice getaway and has a good feel to it. The girls felt so comfortable they got a bit wasted last night!
It was an early rise though, as I had signed up for horseriding with Alex and Lisa. I felt a bit stupid as it isn't particularly macho, but in all fairness it was quality. Got some good pace going from Turk, the horse I was on. I was aching by the end though... I was jealous of Ad, who had a nice lie in!
The afternoon was another long drive, with a rubbish film on show and some lies from Bohdi as usual... We stopped briefly in a town called Bulls, with a police station renamed consta-bulls and a bank called bankabulls. The girls didn't get it!!!
We arrived in Wellington quite late, so grabbed a Subway and went to the hostel bar. It wasn't great as it is Sunday, so I went to bed at 1ish. Ad made it to 5am!

Skydiving!!??!!
Hi Chris,
You obviously haven't inherited my fear of heights then??! Everything you have said about New Zealand makes us jealous. Mum & I really will have to go there some day, even though it is not a Greek Island! Better start saving! Trust your luck to meet two good looking blondes as well as the rest of a fun sounding bunch on the bus. Glad to hear the beer is cheap - what's the wine like?

All i can say is woooooooooooooooow! ..................................... seriously tho read through nearly every log you put in because again WOW it all sounds amazing, and secondly i'm stalling doing any tutorial work!! Hey Chris, sounds like your having an amazing time. I'm very jealous and gutted that I'm back home now. Congrats on the skydive, I'm very proud of you and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who looked like the mole out of dangermouse on my photos! hehe sorry. Anyway keep having fun and no running off with some Maori girl..I'm relying on you coming home to save me from RR. Take care xx
