Woke up feeling slightly pissed still, but not necessarily a bad thing knowing that we had to throw ourselves out of a plane that day. Luckily the weather was beautiful and we got the go-ahead, so we got on the bus to Taupo Air Field.
Our plane was made up of Ad, Alex, Lisa and Me, plus our tandem divers and cameramen. We opted to do the highest skydive commercially allowed (15,000ft) and so we needed oxygen on the flight up as the air was so thin. I was surprised I wasn;t nervous; in fact I was buzzing, as you will see on my DVD!
The jump itself included a freefall of more than a minute, and we could see Lake Taupo and Mt Doom (from LOTR). I can honestly say it is the best thing I've done in the world..... ever!!!!!! Ad loved it too and we've already discussed another jump later in the trip (depends on money). AMAZING!!! I love jumping out of planes...
We celebrated in ther Holy Cow again, where we had free beers for an our (although it cost 60p... outrageous). It wasn't as hardcore a night as the previous effort but still good. Shame we have to move on...
