Started with Black water Rafting in Waitomo, through the glow worm caves under ground, jumping down waterfalls in pitch black. The glow worms were the only source of light! I led the way, and volunteered to dive undergound rocks on a waterfall. It ended up being a joke to see if anyone had the balls to do it. I was the only one who volunteered, but I would have bottled it anyway.... Ad looks sexy in a wetsuit by the way!
The drive afterwards took us through Tongariro National Park and onto the Hukka Falls, which are rapid and sooo powerful. Some freaks have tried to kayak it and died! The views en route are stunning, but they always are here!
When we got to Taupo our skydive was cancelled due to high winds, despite the sunny weather. We were a bit gutted as we were prepared for it. Taupo is probably the place I could most easily live in so far. It was also the scene of some Kiwi Experience mayhem. It was one of those nights where everyone is in the party mood - the night is a bit hazy but I know it was a good one!
