Melbourne is our last stop in Oz, aside from a 2 night trip to see B's auntie in Warnambool. It's a nice city with a very strange mix of people (!) but we found it to be very short on attractions save the usual museums and art galleries (which we didn't visit!). One thing Melbourne is good for is surprise, surprise, pubs! I met up with some college friends living in Melbourne so we had our fair share of good nights out while we were there (as if an excuse were needed). Again, as we had a van, we stayed in a park outside the city as so had a bit of a commute into the city proper, although the excellent tram system in Melbourne helped make this a non-issue. After a few days in Melbourne B's uncle, Paul, paid us a visit from home. I spent time going to various parts of the city posting 'For Sale' signs for Syd. The calls were thin on the ground and we started to worry if we'd be able to sell him at all! But there was still time, however small.
