Hi again!
5 countries down, 6 to go!

After some major down time in Tioman Island (not to mention a week without beer!) it was time to say goodbye to Malaysia and cross the border into Singapore. What a great place. We REALLY loved it. Efficient, tidy etc etc. Bloody expensive though! Well for backpackers anyway. We spent a day on Sentosa island (sort of an activity island/tourist attraction just off the coast) and although it's naff we had a ball. We also met up with a couple of college friends of mine and went for a few drinks in Molly Malone's (yep, an Irish bar!!). Remember I said Singapore was pricy? Well a pint in there (and any bar in Singapore for that matter) was 17 Singapore dollars... about 8 euro! We knew it was going to be pricey but it didn't stop us having fun. Another night we went to the night
zoo called the night safari. Very good seeing the animals at night as they are more active when the sun goes down.
