Hello again!
After saying goodbye to some great friends we made we reluctantly left the duty free island of Langkawi in northwest Malaysia and headed south to another island called Pinang.
After a short stop there we headed inland to mainland Malaysia and went to the Cameron Highlands. In the past, due to it's cool temperature and fertile farming land, the area was a British hill resort and even today still resembles the British countryside. The area is a major tea producer and during our time there we visited a tea plantation and saw how the typical bag of Lyons green label is produced right from the growing of the tea plant through to the cuppa itself!! Very interesting if you're a tea drinker like myself. We also visited a beautiful rose garden, a honey bee farm, a strawberry farm and had a walk through the nearby rain rainforest.
