After meeting up with Pat and the missus in Bangkok we headed to Chang Mai in the north of the country for a bit of jungle trekking. That was an amazing 3 days..... walking through some of the most unbelievable forest and country side, riding elephants, swimming in rivers, white water rafting, bamboo rafting, sleeping under the stars in tribal villages high up in the hills. And of course we managed to empty the villages we visited of whatever beer they possessed! Well, there were 6 Irish and one Scott on the trip! Great craic was had by all.
