************************************** Update - September 2005 ************************************
I made it back, in September 2005 and with familiar company, to Bangkok as part of another trip. Check out the entry here. As an entry it's a lot better than this crap. Honest.
************************************** Update - September 2005 ************************************
After Siem Reap we headed back to Bangkok, a little over 6 weeks since we left it for Hanoi in Vietnam. It was another nightmare trip from Siem Reap to the Cambodian/Thai border but thankfully the roads were nice and smooth from there into Bangkok!
We were only back in Bangkok 1 day when anti-Thai riots broke out in Phnom Penh and the border crossing was closed for a week. Good timing! On January 24th myself and B were due to meet a friend of mine, Pat, and his wife from home. They were going to spend the next 3 weeks with myself and B in Thailand. We spent the first few days in Bangkok, taking in some of the sights before heading north for a visit to Chang Mai.
