Wendy and Bill left us today. They will be staying in a "rustic" cabin for a few day on a lake near Palmer.
After that they head toward Denali. They will fly home next Wednesday. It was good being with them.
Fred, Evelyn Bill & Wanda left Palmer and am staying the night at Glennallen. Going across the Glenn Highway (Palmer to Glennallen) we saw some beautiful country but we have all had enough of the narrow, winding mountain roads. There is construction on the road but we did not get held up too much. We had 2 moose cross the road in front of us. Then we ran into frost heaves and damaged roads. Soooooooooooooo our 147 miles took us about 4 hrs driving time. Tomorrow we head to Valdez and will stay there until at least Monday.
