Mis Estimados
Amigos y Compaņeros.

My terrace is off of my bedroom. In the morning I like to go out on my terrace and watch the people go by on the street below and watch them stop and lookup at and admire my Xmas decorations - my great artistic Xmas creation....

On December 8, in Mexico, they celebrated the conception of Mary (mother of Jesus)
by Mary's mother and in Mexico they celebrate the birth of Mary on September 14...
I may suggest to the Vatican, and the Pope, that maybe they should also be celebrating the conception and birth of Mary's Mother also...

I was at Xmas parties last Friday and Sunday and I am going to two Xmas parties on Xmas day - one in the afternoon and one in the evening.. and I sang Xmas carols on the Principal Plaza (the Jardin) on Saturday and will be singing Xmas carols on Xmas eve on the Principal Plaza (the Jardin) - I think that I will be happy when the Xmas season is over, or at least relieved..
after Xmas there is not much happening until New Year's Eve - when there is a New Year's dinner, and maybe I might, maybe go to the New Year's Bull Fight (undecided about that right now) and then celebrate New Years Eve at midnite in San Miguel's Principal Plaza (the Jardin), which will be jammed packed with people and will have live music with top quality bands from Mexico, and then of course, the fireworks at midnite..  I find it much more exciting to be up close to the fireworks, like it is in San Miguel...
Then I will be starting the New Year in January, on a much quitter note...

I have played in plays in San Miguel as an actor - I am an actor - I have been an extra in several movies in Ottawa. However, I have stopped doing that because it takes too much time and effort and mental energy to memorize my lines.. Some people, actors, have the ability to read their lines and remember them - I do not have that ability, I have to memorize my lines
which just takes too much time, effort and mental energy..
But I was thinking ( I think a lot ), that is why kids can learn to speak another language so easily,
they remember what the words mean - and it is why it is so hard for me to lean to speak espanol,
I have to memorize what  the words mean, which takes a lot of time, effort and mental energy,
and self discipline - but I cannot give up doing it, if I want to learn to speak espanol.
and I do want to learn to speak espanol, very much...

I will have to take some pictures of the Xmas decorations that up all around San Miguel and include them with my next travelogue blog.. San Miguel's narrow streets lend themselves to stringing Xmas decorations across the streets from the buildings on the one side to buildings on the other side... Lots of piņata's everywhere.....
