I have finally got myself a new camera
- see pictures of Mexican art work that I have decorated my casita with
in San Miguel, Mexico.....
The first picture is of the  "piece de resistence" piece of my art
decorating the walls n my casita...

Than a picture of myself when I was younger and more serious
- much younger and much more serious.....

Than pictuues of real people that I have converted to dolls that I have hanging on my walls in my casita - usually people that I did not particularily like... they are not happy dolls - I hope that they are never able to get down off of the walls and come after me....life is never free of risks and dangers.......dangers that lurk around every corner.......You may recognize some of the dolls......

Pictures of my personal GOD that I worship and pray to everyday......

Than pictures of my personal GOD, that I worship and prayer to every day.....

Pictures of paintings given to me.....

There are a million little things to get use to when you move to another countries
that is also a different culture.....many of the assuptions that you make
with out even thinking about it may not be right or true in the new country and culture....

Going to sleep at nite with the real people that I have converted into dolls,
that are hanging from my walls, is just one thing that takes getting use to.... ....

When I look at a Mexican calender - I assume that the first day of the week on the calender is/will be Sunday - the Mexican calenders show Monday as being the first day of the week, which is the right way...Sunday is supposed to be the last day of the week when God took a rest from doing everything - and God said that we should do the the same thing and take a rest on the last day of the week, which is Sunday - which should be the last day of the week on the calender - not the first day of the week on tne calender....like it is on our calenders....

Taking a bus is 5 peso's (40 cents). San Miguel has very good bus service.. The bus driver quite often has one of his kids with him collecting the bus fare - no bus tickets - cash only - which you hand to the bus driver or his kid - they put the money into an open tray - I do wonder how much of that money actually gets back to the bus company.... Often the buses travel with their doors open to get a little fresh air. And on a regular basis, local business people are flagging the bus down to get change from the bus driver for larger bills - 100 and 200 peso notes and even 500 peso notes.
Mexican business people often seem to have a problem making change when you pay their bill. It is sort of like any money paid to them immediately and instantly disappears off to somewhere else - and they often just do not seem to like making change period....You would think that after a few years in business they would have picked-up the concept that making change when they get paid, is all part of doing businness...What IS wrong with these people anyway????..

The Mexicans idea of beauty seem to include not having level floors through your living space.
One room will be set 6 inches above or below the next room. There is no fuunctional reason for this - strickly ethetics. My washroom is 6 inches higher than the floor outside of it. When I step out of the washroom - 2 o 3 times a week - I step out of the washroom like it is going to be level with no 6 inch drop. - which is a big surprise to me and gets a loud howl or scream out of me.....I am staring to get use to it now and it does not happen as often as it use to happen. I am adjusting - and learning from my mistakes.. Sometimes people must wonder what is going on in my place.....
I live and learn - and I learn by doing - and I learn from my making mistakes (sometimes)......
The live and learn - learn by doing and learning from my mistakes certaily and definetly applies to my attempts to learn to speak Spanish - currently I probably have a 90% error rate - which I am trying to reduce to a 85% error rate... I am not going to be able to learn to speak Spanish overnite - so you are probably going to be hearing about this for some time to come - for the next few years - at my current rate of progress, I estimate that I will be fluent in Spanish in 20 to 30 years....

Sometimes I wonder what normal people think about....

Some people think that I have no problems in my life and that my life is as smooth as silk...
So I am just pointing out some of the problems that I do have in my life....

JUST remember, that I am a poor, old senior on a fixed income, struggling to make ends meet,
in a strange, foreign, very violent country and culture where death lurks around every corner and where I do not speak the language, and I am in my declining years and on the last lap of my life - maybe, hopefully, I have a few laps left....

Note: I am going to Puerto Vallarta next week for a couple of weeks...
I feel that I need a vacation from my holidays - or a holiday from my vacation...
Anyway, whatever, I am going to Puerto Vallarta for a couple of weeks....
