Lenoir City, Tennessee, population 6,147.

From just one overlook you can see three TVA lakes!

Watts Bar Lake, (the Tennessee River)where you'll find the Watts Bar Dam Reservation, Rhea Springs Recreation Area, Froshee Pass Recreation Area, Hornsby Hollow Recreation Area, and Riley Creek Recreation Area.

Tellico Lake, (the Little Tennessee River) where you'll find the Tellico Dam Reservation.

Fort Loudoun Lake (the Tennessee River) where you'll find Fort Loudoun Dam Reservation, Yarberry Peninsula Recreation Area, and Poland Creek Recreation Area.

All are beautiful facilities offering an abundance of recreation opportunities -- TVA's recreational map "Great Lakes of the South" has a complete listing of boat docks, resorts, state parks, US Forest Service camp areas, and county and municipal parks along TVA's shores.

Fort Loudoun Dam is on the main channel of the Tennessee River and allows free tours of the hydro-power dam if you arrange ahead. Swimming, fishing, a picnic area, a boat ramp.
