Little Red Caboose

I parked the car. The town was three blocks long, about that many wide, we'll find a spot I said. It was chilly out, our breath made smoke. The sun was shining though, and we were glad to be here, on this fine day.
A little red caboose! Not like the Amtrak tailend to be sure. A diner spot, open 24/7, we both agreed on it. Inside, a sparkle shine, the wooden booths were open there, sit anywhere you like.
The friendliness continued here, the waitress brought us this and that, hot coffee, chocolate milk, how many eggs? Pancakes? Biscuits and gravy? Our sausage here is good. And we've got sweet potato fries. Yes, anything you want, you eat now, fill yourself, we think we may come back tonight so we can order more.
The menu just goes on and on and we are satisfied. Stuffed with food and friendly talk, we waddle out the door.
