I am in Italy, have been so for several weeks. Most of my time has been spent in the middle of nowhere in Tuscany where I only get to crawl out of my hole once a week and spend roughly 1 hour in civilization that is the probably equivalent of a hickville American town but it seems more like New York City to me because it has: 1) people my age 2) a grocery store and 3) an internet cafe. Holy crap, I know! The little things that make me shout praises on high. If you have seen the movie Wet Hot American Summer my situation is similar to the scene when the counselors in the movie go into town...minus the drinking and heroin, but you get the point. BASICALLY, I live like a cave man and I have now crawled out of my cave for the one alloted day. yippie. Basta.
BaHrain, Istanbul and Malta were all wonderful in their own unique way. To sum up in a nutshell, my time was jam-packed with mosques and churches. This makes Kim happy.
English camps are going well.
I am ready to travel once again.
Dulce and Gabbana should not be worn by 8 year olds, but it happens. Prada luggage happens too. Yep, sleepover CAMP...
I work with a girl who calls me her cosmic twin. I think she's right.
I've obviously been in Italy long enough because I am beginning to not see anything wrong with sporting a mullet.
I now get upset if extra virgin olive oil, salt and vinegar are not within an arms-length grasp of me.
There is a song that is big in Italy right now called "Tanto Tanto" that really makes no sense and even though I know the lyrics are worse than horrible, for some reason it intriges me.
I met Italian men who liked the sound of the word "toothpaste"
I could go on and on but the internet cafe is closing soon. I would say I will post again soon, but who knows when that will be. Most likely, it wont be soon. So I will post when I post.
