There is, yet again, too much to write about Istanbul. I absolutely loved the city and wish I could live there if the language thing wasn't such a big deal. Not that I am intimidated by not speaking the local language...I mean come on, after Japan, Dubai, Italy, etc. I have gotten used to people not understanding me, or you know, calling people sluts for several months without knowing (see previous post). Meh. I do feel, however, that I need to pick a few languages now and stick with them. As much fun as it is to have all my thoughts jumble in several languages and when describing something, actually having to say "in English, how do you say yada yada yada..." I really do not need to add any more confusion to the current car crash that is my mind right now. Basta, Halas, Owarimasu, finished!
(side note, I realize that my posts are simply one giant never-ending tangent such as the one I just got caught up in. This is just a small, tip of the iceburg example of my thought process. Very scary, I know.)
Back to Turkey. Actually, no, I will explain Turkey later as I will be returning for a Tour of da Turk for three weeks in August. What was the point of this post? Meh, beats me.
