Parintins was my favorite of the towns along the Amazon we visited. It was small, about 100,000 people, but seemed cleaner. The town is about 200 years old and again, there is not much to see here unless you want to go to the Boi Bumba Festival, typically held in lateJune, or a Boi Bumba show. However, there is some souvenir shopping here and some nice photos to take.
