Today, Eric bussed to Florence at the crack of dawn to get some excellent photographs, and Liz, Ralph and I followed at a more civilized hour. Got in some good shopping, finally. Also had a great lunch of white beans (fagiole) and sausage, at a sidewalk cafe, with a waiter who had great fun charming any and all ladies who happened to pass - it was a real show! He was really paying attention to a pretty girl sitting next to us, who was from Oregon. He wound up giving her a full-on kiss, to applause from passers-by, to her delight\dismay (I don't think she knew which to feel!)
Alright, time to catch the last bus up to the castle. Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow - maybe some last minute wine-tasting?
