Day 4 brought us more crappy weather -- fog, mist/rain/drizzle, and cold temps. Luckily we were in the right spot for rainy day activities. After a GREAT breakfast at the Windward House, we drove to the Owls Head Transportation Museum (3 miles south of Rockland). For some reason that I'm not quite sure of, we missed the Owls Head Light - I can't quite remember, but it may have been closed? Somehow we instead went to the Marshall Point Light. We also visited the Farnsworth Art Museum and although we're not very 'arty' people, it was very interesting and like nothing we have in South Dakota. We also made the mistake of driving up Mount Battie and getting a big view of nothing but fog and mist and drizzle. We spent the night at the Comfort Inn in Belfast and ate dinner in the adjoining restaurant, Ocean's Edge.
