Signed up officially to do the Esperanto exam. It actually goes over three days and each day you have to pass the previous section to be allowed to do the next. There was a bit of confusion over the fact that I don't have a congress number but sensibly they're letting me sit the exam nevertheless.

Rotterdam seems to have a lot of statues like this one... We were tempted to put one of my mi long penis t-shirts on this one and take the snap again.

I took the Germans to yum cha. There seems to be a whole heap of restaurants that have yum cha - all near each other in what seems to be Rotterdam's Chinatown.
Yum cha was pretty busy as is to be expected on a Sunday. Pretty good selection with a few things I've never seen before - including some with cheese - bizarre but not so surprising for Holland.
I was supposed to meet up with the Germans again after some event at the congress but I was so drowsy after so much food at yum cha that I fell asleep in the mall, despite the cold.
I just couldn't keep my eyes open - 4 o'clock in the morning in Australia so not surprising.
Pretty standard mall, except theirs has a big orange in it...
And a very impressive mobile. It's huge and moves around a fair bit in the wind. NIce effect but spoiled rather by the fact that they don't seem to have been too successful with their put it in a litterbin campaign.
