Finally a photo of the building where I stayed in Reykjavik. I was upstairs on the left.

And the sort of houses that were in the neighbourhood. It looks really suburban but it was a very short walk to downtown.

Appropriately foggy for my last day and pic back towards the city...

The bus station... I'm already ready with the second half of my return ticket.

There's an airport almost in the middle of town but that's domestic... and to Greenland. I think when they kicked the Americans off their base at Keflavik they took it over for their international airport.

I had to help some people who got lost just like I did. Who would imagine that at arrival you'd take the small door to the left and not go straight ahead? It even looks as though it goes to the same place.

The Saga Lounge this time.

No doubt about it, these lounges are pretty cool. And they're so quiet and peaceful.

A fridge of beer...

And pour your own spirits... though I know a couple of people who could burn this perk in no time.

My plane - Icelandic Airlines.

Air New Niugini has a battered old Boeing 767 leased from Icelandair.
I flew on it from Hong Kong to Port Moresby.
All the signage is still in (I say at a rough guess because I know it's not Tok Pisin) Icelandic. I wish I'd taken photos.
