the life of a traveller is that of a good one...however a busy one at that..always moving from one place to another, living out of your suitcase or backpack, always meeting new people, hearing new stories, seeing new places experiencing new cultures always dealing with jetlag, panic that you cant find your passport or plane/train ticket, panic that your not even on the right train or fell asleep through your stop when every stop looks the same or that you missed the last boarding call.....but there comes a point in every travellers journey when all the rushing stops and you sit down and perhaps you heard a sad song, or perhaps you woke up one morning when it was time to move on to the next destination or perhaps even as your on the way to that destination you see a dog identicle to yours (which in this case you have a not so comon dog which makes it even more of a prominent point) and it hits you that everything youve always known is half a world away that your on your own surrounded by people you barely know when your friends are all together at home, or that everyone at home is getting up at 2 in the morning to watch a game of football when i walk down the hallway into the lounge late afternoon.........and when this feeling comes over you, you want nothing mroe then to be in your own home with your own food with your own tv programmes with your own music with your own bed with the sun going down at a reasonable hour with the sun going down on the correct side of the sky, with the normal toilet flushers, normal shower heads and normal light switches........normal stoves , normal flooring in bathrooms....the @ key in its normal position on the hits you hard and it hits you good....i miss home
