Left today for Tokyo, flight was not so bad. We had been dreading the whole 18 hour deal. As we sat in our seats for the long flight to Tokyo, we noticed a family that had not been placed together. Husband, wife and 3 LITTLE BOYS. To our great luck these screaming group of beautiful children ( I'm being sarcastic) were going to be placed right in front of us,they each practiced their yells as they sat down to get us in the mode for long travel. I was quick to fix this with my little nursing bag. I will not admit what we ingested, but we went to sleep soon after. Waking up every once and a while to be feed some of the strangest items. I think they called it lunch. Anyway we are both in agreement that the flight was no where as bad as others had tried to warn us about. Anyway we are here. The ride on the bus in to Tokyo was long and passed streets and streets full of tall housing buildings with clothes and plants on the porches. At the airport is was clear, the theory that all Japanese can speak english - well that is a lie, straight out. And that situation only got worse at the hotel. They are very nice and gracious, but if I understood her right the 60 story hotel lacks room service, pool , spa - basicly all of my favorite hotel things. And when the travel agent said we would be in a room with the NORMAL japan twin size beds, she was not kidding, she could have said "twin beds - like use to come in old trailers" Did we send them here??? In all of this I am Just joking. Since we landed everyone has been gracious, and I believe my life could be improved if I could get all of you to bow each time I approach you ha ha ha.
