I hate to say it again, but it is HOT. I mean like at the beach, cannot stand it, pouring sweat HOT. Everyone has told me to forget it and quit worrying about bathing, as it is part of the Europe in summer way. That is why they go on holiday all of August.

I have left the school and been taken to a flat in Vienna, I have put a picture of the stair way in photo album. It is stone and cool feeling so I am setting on the floor typing, at least my butt will be cool. This is the town of music so I am told and I can hear some sort of concert or someone playing a piano in this line of buildings. It is of course adding to the whole Vienna feel of the day. This is not where I will be staying tonight. It is where the ride I got into town went and I am told that is the way to do , if a car is heading in your direction - jump in. (see picture of 5 in a Honda). Tonight I have been invited to a cookout or party or something here in Vienna and they will come back and get me after everyone is transported into town. I will be staying at Marcus's house (bald guy in pictures at the school ) and with Giovoni ( Italian in picture with me) . Different people from the group are heading in different directions mid-week. I wish I had not made plans to go to Spain and could just go along as they suggest. I think they are a little concerned for me after they heard the train crying story, but I will be fine. Some are heading up to the Black Sea area, but they are not going to hurry and I have to be in Paris on August 14th - might could work?? This nothing in stone , one bag travel guessing game is a different way and I have not been here long enough to get into the swing of it yet. Those that I am meeting say just meet up with someone and go along - Hummm. Anyway heading to Prague Wed. and staying in hostel with plenty of other people. Probably going to add Budapest to trip, everyone who came from that direction really liked it. At this house I am with a young girl from America who is traveling until her money is gone - she thinks she can make it 5 or 6 months more, she has been gone 2 months. This is her second time here. She said her first time she was 17 and her mother was following her to the plane crying for her not to go, yea she went anyway.

It is around 3 pm here, and plenty more to do this afternoon.. There a number of people from France, Italy, and Germany with us and the jokes about once the wine is pouring is I believe true for the whole group.

Until next time, Au revoir,

Evening Friday,
Made it to flat that I will be staying at this weekend. The metro system is easy here, but not in English easy, just easy. I am skipping party tonight, tired.

Good Night,

Oh, no! Please.... Don't torture me... I feel tortured already - now this? lol

Budapest is on MY list... Of course you have to go (so I can see to - if nothing else... ha ha). I think you could really get into the swing of just going where the flow takes you with the folks you seem to get on with.

I, too, am one who looks forward to your stories as I dream of one day having a bunch of my own.

You're with all the great couchsurfing folks too... You met Casey (it's like he's famous or something... tee hee).

Thanks for sharing your journey... aisha
