I had to say goodbye to St. Mary's for the longest period of time since I got here 2 years ago.  It will be dearly missed.  I feel like I said goodbye in the most apt way possible.  With my friends.  No big goodbyes, just sailing, bocci ball, jungle juice and Home Alone 2.  I will miss you all dearly.

I remember I felt so weird on the ride home.  All I could think was that now that I've really got my things in order, really feel at home, have firm ties with good people, I have to pick up and leave.  I suddenly doubted what there really was in China for me.  Why I couldn't stay at home.  Now I know Maryland will always be my home and St. Mary's will be home to some of my favorite memories, and travel is only something that will make home better.  You know broaden the mind, make you appreciate home more, and teach me to love the weirdness of America even more, and all that other stuff.

Doesn't mean I don't miss you all every day, though.
