Day 187. 1983 party

With 20 hours to go I found out I was going to a 1983 themed party in Lyon. Always one for a dress up I soon came up with an idea, the Internet. Great party and I even found a girl to chat to in English.

Day 188. Memories of Lyon
19/10/08

Using the free bikes to get around the city I found my way to the tourist office. Free wifi at last. It was Sunday so the shops were closed, but the tourist attractions were still open.
My Euro's were dwindling fast so I was keen to keep cheap today. So I wondered around the markets on the river side then up the hill to the old Roman Theatre. It was free to get in. On looking around it hit the trigger. Memories of meandering the sites with Kat and Karen some 5.5 years earlier. Trying to manouvre the hire car round the old city center. Parking! The fancy glass shop. It just shows the importance of writing and recording events in your life. I just can't rely on my memory!
