Having missed the train, bus & having no luck with a shanty agent, I decided to stay the night. Well I had no choice. On the way to the hostel I saw a large travel agency, CITS. I found out there the flight to Xi'an for the night was cancelled, next one was 12:10 the following day. Told them to book it.
When the ticket arrived it was for 00:10, 10mins into the following day. There English was fairly good; they of course blamed the airline for the mix up.
Turning this into a positive there was a mountain next to the city I hadn't been to. More importantly to get there you need to use the world's longest cable car at 7.6 kms. How could I not resist despite the price tag.
Day 79. Tianmen Mountain

Early the next day after a poor nights sleep I headed to the cable car. Again I met many nice people along the way. The rest of the story is on the photo board.....
