On the morning ferry to Koa Phang Gan I could see the lady-boys joining the crowd for the parties to come. Some guy will be in luck, but it wont be me!
I was so pleased to arrive at the LoyFa Bungalows. Although out of the action it was set in a lovely location. My wooden bungalow balcony faces West onto the gulf of Thailand. It has 2 plastic chairs, a table and hammock. Although tired from 2 days on the road I went out and hired a bike. On the way I got offered a 'ride' by 2 Thai girls on a ped. Was there space, where they LB's - I declined, I didn't have far to walk.
After biking to Thongsala I returned to LoyFa at sunset and enjoyed 2 beers on the hammock.
Day 36. The official full moon party

There I was sitting on rocks, listening to the soothing sounds of water from the Phaeng Noy Waterfall. There had not been much rain recently so the water was only trickling down, but it was a great place for time out with the birds singing.
In the afternoon I got a knock on the door. Want a beer? So next thing I was sitting on the beach with Andy and Patrick from Germany why I shared a tuk-tuk with from the ferry port to LoyFa. We were warming up for the official full moon party with some stories. I spoke for some time on the dangers of LB's. Always check for knobs!
Once we were in Haad Rin, Andy was clearly reved. At the 1st bar while I was eating he was chatting to these 4 American girls. As we all exited together Andy made eye contact with this Thai girl. Before we could say LB they were pashing and skipping down the street together. The American's and I just stared at each other and laughed! Patrick left off after Andy.
So half an hour later I was wondering the beach with the Americans when I saw Man-Bag Mike, out Vang Vieng tubing buddy. We sat, chilled out for a bit when we met Leia from Vancover Island, another random event. We all danced the night away, saw the sunset and Leia lost her flip flop. Returned home at 7am.
Day 37. G&T

Managed a few hours sleep before walking to a town close by for some gin and tonic. Returning, I heard a cry for me from a pub and sure enough it was Patrick and Andy. We all ended up back on our bungalow balcony unfolding the events of the night before. We had a good laugh and an early night.
Day 38. Last night

Starting on the G&T we were at it again. We headed to the near by pub and Andy was trying his luck, but never converted, which probably save him. But once we reached Haad Rin we did lose Andy. So Patrick and I enjoyed a rather open chat together. He was open about his past, his worries and his full moon party exploits. All of which I'm keeping private!
We returned fairly early as I had an 8am ferry and Patrick was going to take me there on his MoPed.
