We made it out of the country and so the journey begins! And it has been a journey since we touched down, we arrived at the bus station and being the budget minded travelers we are decided to forgo the $2 bus ride , well after the 5th set of directions we were lost and it started to pour lol But after several re adjustments we found the hostel with a huge smile on our faces.
So after abut 3 days here we have the city on lock down, we have a favorite fish taco shop 3 for 2.50, we know which bus takes us to the beach, and we know not to make eye contact with the hounds of hell that protect from the roof of the local day care. This is by far one of the scariest things I have ever see and we have video which doesn't fully show how evil the rabid pitbull really is standing above the ninos.

which was a  great disappointment in the middle of the day with out any help from the local cervesa lol but it has been replaced by some havannahs which will take me the rest of the trip.

 The beaches are incredible and we jumped in and did some wave surfing earlier in the day, our base tan is looking promising and we almost blend in with the locals. Life is good

 Well time for another nap and then off to Belize in the morning. & hours in an air conditioned bus will be a treat. So talk to you again in central America!

Don't drink the salt water!
Otherwise you should be able to drink all the water you want as long as you zap it with your handy-dandy, high tech, mildly expensive (how many $2 bus rides could you have taken...?), endorsed-by-Ben UV light.
Pictures look great, can't believe you are leaving already.

Greetings, I have finally signed myself into your site! Miss you out here in Cali, however, I see that you seem to be having a fantastic time and are probably not wishing to be back here yet. I got our deposit back today! $1290, only things subtracted was carpet cleaning! Where should I send your half off too... guess that is the one thing we did not figure. Sorry I missed you before you left, too much phone tag with not enough time. My wonderful boyfriend took me to Catalina!
