Our first Entry is not only a test, but a brief overview of the planned upcoming trip.
Today we had our first meeting to discuss the trip in detail, (of course over wine and yummy snacks!) The things we learned: Brook can't live without coffee! Hank is a hypacondriac. Peter is now rethinking his choice to join the trip! Carrie is a shopoholic John is ready to shop shop shop! The trip will first take us from Boone to Charlotte, to Dulles, to Beijing (via the north pole!) We will begin our trip in Beijing where the company we are working with will show us around the city, show us the sights and get us culturally acclimated. (Tough job for anyone! Good luck to Charles!) We will be visiting with Xuewu, his wife Xin Xin and their daughter who will be taking us to the artist studios and Factory 798.
We will then travel to Xian (to see the warriors!) And then on to Shangai to meet with Fudan University and plan for student art and artists exchanges. Then Home. And we are off!!! More thumbnails ...
