We did another quick game drive on our way out of the park this morning. Nothing super exciting, just some more giraffes and zebras. We were heading out towards Waterberg Plateau Park. I had every intention this afternoon of taking it easy but of course felt bad because everyone was going on the hike up to the top of the plateau. We were told it wasn't a difficult hike but of course that wasn’t the case and we encountered many dangers along the way. We started off by going along the wrong path, which was completely covered in really spiky, sharp branches. Luckily, we found our way back to the right path. As we continued on our way up, we got really excited because we had spotted some baboons along the way. Unfortunately, as we tried to get closer to the group of them to take some pictures we didn’t realize there were a bunch of baby monkeys on the wall nearby
Tomorrow we head off to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. We lose 2 people that are currently on the tour and I think pick up a few more. Even though the camping in the tents hasn’t been a problem at all so far, I’m definitely looking forward to staying in a hotel tomorrow night!
