We made our way out of Dublin yesterday and to France via the always on-time (no really, they pride themselves on this fact alone) RyanAir. After arriving in France, we spent the morning look for a luggage locker as most French luggage workers were on strike (not really, but kidding aside, the French are notorious strikers and the first luggage locker we went to was mysteriously "out of service."). Anyway, once we found one that was open, we dropped our bags off and did, what else, but enjoy some coffee and a crepe in a cafe overlooking Notre Dame.
We then met up with one of our hosts for the next two nights in Paris, Thomas and made our way to his apartment. We then enjoyed a night of fine food, fine conversation, and fine drink before we headed to bed (at a respectable 1:00).
Today, we spent sightseeing visiting the Bastille, Eiffel Tower (which someone recommended to us, and boy they were right), Arc De' Triumph, and Napoleon's Tomb (to pay our respects). At the moment we our making our arrangements into Spain (which of course we would have to do at the last minute while everyone in Europe seems to be heading there for holiday, plus there is a big festival going on, so much for planning). If all goes well, you will hear from us next in the Basque Country.
Ou Revoir,
Your handsome vagabonds
