Today we went to the Baseball.
We saw the Chicago WhiteSox vs Milwakee Brewers.
The game started at 1:10pm, so we got the subway out the ballpark, and got a few souvenirs.  The girls were both lucky enough to get replica baseball jersey when we entered the stadium.  Danielle and I both picked up WhiteSox hats, and I got a baseball.
We made our way to our seats and settled in.  It was about 30C and we were sitting in the sun.  It was HOT!  3 mins later the beer game walked past, so I got one, then a hot dog guy came past.  Too Easy!  The girls got waters, hot dogs, pepsi, and we were just like the locals.  You just wave to the guy, then he passes the stuff down the row of seats, and you pass the money along.  Too Easy!

The game got underway, and we were getting a running commentary from the guy beside me.  It was awesome, we all had a great time.  The sun ducked behind the top of the stand at about 3pm, so it was much better for the second half of the game.
The girls went for a walk and came back with a baseball helmet filled with ice-cream!  Massive - It was crazy.
The game was 0-0 after 9 Innings, so it went in to Extra Innings.  And at the bottom of the 10th Inning, the Whitesox scored a run!  So after 3.5 hours we finally had a score on the board.  It's wierd, but it wasn't boring.  I imagine if you went all the time, you'd like to see more runs, but we had a great time.
At the end of the game we were even invited in to the Organ room (this is where all the music is done) - how cool.

We finished off today up on the Observation deck of the John Hancock building.  It's over 1000ft tall and about 94 floors.  We listened to the audio tour and got pizza and a beer and sat and checked out the cities lights.  It was stunning.  On he way back to the hotel, we stopped in at "The Cheesecake Factory" for some dessert - OMG - it is unbelievable.

Well it took us a while but we finally sat down and travelled with you on your journey so far. What a blast. We were enthralled! The photos and comments are awesome. I'm sure you've read the word "jealous" too many times already so we'll just say we are cool with you having fun overseas and we are thoroughly enjoying the cold and rain of Melbourne. NOT!!!! So much done and so much still to come. Erl I got your message about the rodant problem and I now have it sorted, he is no longer waking up the neighbourhood. Though we may have to catch him when you get back. It's lonely without you guys around though we won't say hurry back, enjoy every second! Can't wait for Paris blog. Enjoy the snails
