we arrived after i don't know how many hours on a bus in sukathai! it's a really small village and generally people stay in phitsanulok when they want to visit here and take a day trip. we decided as we'd only be visitin for one night that we'd stay in sukathai itself.
it's basically an historical city, there's much else to do and only had one nice restaurant that suited our budget, in fact it only had one restaurant in the whole place!
We spent the day on our rented bikes taking in the historical ruins. THey were simalar in style to the ones we saw in my son so we were happy to have a look and get round the area quickly enough to enjoy the afternoon in the sun.
it was  a good place to visit but certainly wouldn't spend longer than one night here if it can be helped.
