Asian Neighbors for Life
My friend Tiffanie (who I interned with at the Minnesota International Center) came to visit me this weekend. She is currently teaching English in Korea- just a hop, skip, and a jump away from me.
Purikura
She came over for the weekend to check out the country of Japan. I did my best to show her some important tidbits, regardless of my busy January schedule. [I say this because I would have loved to have spent more time with her, and taken her to more places... but for some reason school was just NUTS in January and I was unable to take any extra time off so I just got to see Tiffanie over the weekend.]
Babes in Shades
We went to kaitenzushi (the revolving sushi restaurant), to Rokko Mountain (a hill atop of a man-made island, where a beautiful view of the city can be seen on a clear day, [unfortunately we had a cloudy day...]), and to an 'interesting' club in Osaka. [Unfortunately, I do not have many pictures of these events :( ]
Out for Dinner
It was fun to get out and do some of the 'touristy' things in Kobe- and of course it's always wonderful to see friends from home!
