wooo-hoo! My first visitor came this week~ all the way from Sweden. Björn said the trip took him a good 24 hours but I guess that's what you get for trying to find a cheap ticket at the last minute.... :(

We planned lots of crazy and fun events for his week here like attending a Halloween house party in Osaka, visiting shrines and temples in Kyoto, perusing around Chinatown in Kobe, going shopping in Osaka, checking out the harbor, etc. etc.

I think the main focus of the trip was definitely food. Except for breakfast, which we usually enjoyed on the balcony, we pretty much ate every meal out. Japan as excellent food- excellent! and I wanted to make sure björn got to sample a lot of it so I took him to some of my favorite restaurants and a few new places.
