Jaisalmer - Camel Trek

Jaisalmer is a real desert town. It's easily the hottest place I've ever been in my life. Temperature was 45 degrees each day with a humidity of 100%. Did a 2 day camel trek from here. We trekked in the Thar desert near the pakistan border. The camel I had was a bit of a renegade, he threw me off on a few occasions. Luckily it was into sand dunes. Spent a night out in the desert sleeping under the stars. Was nodding off to sleep when a huge thunder storm rocked in! We scrambled a plastic blanket on to the ground and one over us. There were 5 of us under this blanket (about the size of a double bed) trying to hold it down with our arms and feet as the rain crashed down! Interesting night...
