Took an overnight train from Varanasi to Agra. It's a cool way to travel, leaving one city behind in the evening time, hopefully getting a good sleep under your belt then waking up in a new town. I'm still travelling with Jordan, Dave and Jason. On the first day we rented bikes and took a spin out to a town across the river that has great views of the Taj Mahal. We also took in Akbar's mausoleum, the mother of all tombs.

Next day we hit the Taj Mahal itself at 6 a.m, just after sun rise. It was hard to believe I was standing there looking at one of the wonders of the world. Very impressive building I have to say. Spent a few hours there taking it all in. Some Indian tourists have obviously never seen westerners before so we were approached on a number of occasions for photographs.

In the afternoon we went to Agra Fort. Had my wallet stolen at the entrance gate. Disaster! Only about 30 Euro in it and a visa card which I cancelled so wasn't too bad. Also had a train ticket for the next day though which was taken. Went to Agra tourist police to make a statement. They were very helpful and one guy even came down to the train station with me to sort out a duplicate train ticket. Next stop Delhi...
